The What

Envision is a visual text adventure game that can be played on any tablet or smartphone device. With the new Surface Tablet, which will soon be released, we’ll be able to incorporate our game on its touch screen interface. The game is intended to help students find a path or a career they might be interested in. The player has the options to customize their character, rate each activity they've done, and navigate to almost anywhere they want. The game starts with the character going to school and finding out that they have to select their classes for the upcoming year. The character does not know what classes to choose and when the character goes home and falls asleep he/she dreams about what classes to pick . This game allows the user to explore beyond the games motive, so that the user is not only entitled to a particular set goal. This game doesn't involve simple “yes” or “no” type of questions. It allows the user to be able to gain a deeper sense of learning about their career and look at real-life experiences at the workplace. For example, if the path leads to a photographer, it would teach the user how to take pictures and what a typical day as a photographer would be like. All the player needs to do is follow a given task and explore options. This game is advised for ages 10 and up. Short free samples will be given to whoever is interested in the game, and can buy the full version for $0.99. Young students nowadays are more accessible to internet and all sorts of electronic devices. Why not give them an idea, a path or a passion that they should look forward to?

It’s different from any other career/job surveys. Students will be able to learn and plan their future while having fun.
