AGES 5-12
SDG 8 stands for Sustained, Inclusive, and Sustainable Economic Growth, Full and Productive Employment, and Decent Work for All. In simpler terms, it’s all about making sure everyone can find good jobs and have opportunities to succeed. It also means creating jobs that are safe, fair, and rewarding.
Your challenge is to think about a job or a business you’d like to create. How can this job or business help people in your community? What makes this job special and good for everyone?
Need Inspiration? Here are some ideas to help you think creatively about how your idea can contribute to decent work and economic growth:
Use your imagination and creativity to come up with a great idea that will help people and make your community shine. Have fun with your challenge, and remember, every great idea starts with you!
Why is it Important? Imagine if everyone had a chance to do work that they enjoy and that helps them support themselves and their families. When people have good jobs, they can earn money to buy what they need, and they can help their communities grow and become better places to live. Good jobs also mean that people can feel happy and proud of their work!
